J.J. Todd will break "No Fly Zone's" career blocks record this week

Todd is set to pass Scriber on the All-Time blocks list

Of all the Ultimate Hoops records, the career blocks record, held by Travis “No Fly Zone” Scribner for over a decade, was once deemed untouchable.

Las Vegas’ J.J. Todd will now break the Babe Ruth of UH records.

Last week, Todd tied Scribner on the All-Time list when he recorded his 1,074th block. Tomorrow night, Todd has a chance to surpass Scribner when the #1 ranked Buckets face the Silver Bullets in the Green Valley Open Division Semi-Finals.

Scribner, who last completed in Green Valley’s Veterans Division this past Spring, averaged a Bill Russell-like 4.1 blocks for his career, achieving his record 1074 blocks in 261 games compared to Todd’s 399 games.

Rumors are swirling that Scribner could return for the Las Vegas 35 & Over National Tournament in October. In addition, the league recently honored Scribner, renaming the Defensive Player of The Year Award in his name.
