If you look at the National Player Performance Ranking leaderboard at the front of our leagues’ page, you’ll see a new name atop of the list. Christian Moore put up a PPR of 57.3 due his ridiculous stat line of 17 points, 41 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 blocks in a 78-53 win for Video Game Tatts.

Not only did Moore record a quadruple-double, which is rarely seen at any level of basketball, but his 41 rebounds and 10 blocks are both single-game records in Charlotte.

There were multiple reasons why Moore was able to achieve this, which Charlotte league coordinator, Justin Polley, helps explain.

“The tallest player on the team he faced was maybe 6’3”, Polley said. Moore is listed at 6’8”, and Polley said he’s closer to 6’9”, which gives him a significant height advantage in this matchup,.

Polley went on to explain that Moore’s fitness may have been the biggest factor in him being able to put up such crazy stats.

“I believe last night was the first time in a few seasons Christian actually pushed himself to go 44 minutes,” he said. “He has been working on getting himself into shape so he could stay on the floor longer.”

If that rings true, then the rest of Charlotte is in trouble. Moore has always been a problem for opposing teams, as he’s averaged 9.5 points, 15 rebounds and 3.6 blocks in his career. Those numbers have helped lead him to back-to-back championships over the past two seasons. If he’s in better shape now than he has been in those two title-winning seasons, then a three-peat is a real possibility.
