Ogunleye hopes to land on a 2022 NYC National Tourney roster

With former New York City National Tourney Champion FMB left on the sidelines in 2022, their players are looking to land on another team’s roster.

One of these FMB players is Tunde Ogunleye, who, in four NYC National Tournaments dating back to 2017, has averaged 17.4 PTS, 5.5 REB, and 3.1 AST. FMB fans remember Ogunleye going off for a tournament career-high 34 points in a 110-105 win over Treys 4 Days in 2019.

The most likely team to sign Ogunleye for the tournament appears to be New York’s Sky Team, whose roster remains in mystery with just three weeks to go until the tournament. Despite NBA’s Carmelo Anthony's minimum game ineligibility, wild rumors continue circulating that Anthony may join the Sky team.

Where Ogunleye may land is a topic for this Thursday’s Twitter Spaces tournament preview, scheduled for 2 pm EST.
