Raw Sports have been having a successful season in the Sky Open League, as they sit at 4-1 after easily defeating the Monstars 94-57 last night.

A big reason for their success has been the play of Rudy Lavanture. He’s averaging a team-high 30.4 points, and the only player in the league scoring more is Nick Leon, who averages 32.5 (but Leon has played in three fewer games than Lavanture). Lavanture is putting up those numbers by shooting 58% from the field and 41% from deep.

Last night was a perfect example of the massive impact he’s had for Raw Sports, as he scored a league-record 52 points, which was only five fewer points than the Monstars scored as a team. Lavanture had an incredibly efficient night, as he shot 22-31 from the field and 6-10 from deep.

This feat came in Lavanture’s 14th career game. Over those 14 games, he’s averaged 26.1 points per game, so he doubled his career scoring average with the record-setting 52 points last night. This breaks his previous career-high by seven points, as he scored 45 points in Week 1 this season, which saw Raw Sports come away with a 90-87 victory over Team Sky.

Lavanture was not the only player on Raw Sports that produced in a big way, as Sonny Tudeme had a triple-double of 17/16/10, while Peter Rawson added a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds.
