Three future RTG players have big Tuesday nights

A few players that are set to play for RTG next weekend in the National Tournament were in action in Garden City last night, and three of them put together monster Tuesday nights.

Michael Mastro, Matthew Mehler and Brandon Wilson all scored at least 27 points last night in the Garden City Draft League. If you combine their three stat lines, here’s what they averaged: 31/8.3/5.3 while shooting 63% from the field and 50% from deep.

Mastro and Mehler play together on Jeurys Familia, and they picked up an easy 99-76 win over Gale Force. Mehler scored 30 points and made all three shots from the outside he attempted, while Mastro recorded a triple-double of 27 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.

Wilson scored 36 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to get Let It Fly the victory, as they fell 77-73 to 2 Old 2 Hold.

I doubt we’ll see any games in the National Tournament where these three combine to score 93 points. But if RTG gets anywhere close to this kind of production from these players, they’ll be in a good spot.
