Gray is one of the most accomplished players in all of Ultimate Hoops, racking up monster stats and numerous championships in over 600 UH games.

He ranks in the top five in three major statistical categories: points, assists and steals. He is second all time in points scored, just behind fellow UH Detroit legend and UH Hall of Famer Mckinsey Golfin. He’s been able to rack up impressive milestones due to his consistency across multiple leagues. He has career splits of 20.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals. Those 20.4 points per game comes from shooting splits of 52 percent from the field and 41 percent from deep.

His scoring has translated well on the national stage as well. In 12 National Tournament games, Gray has averaged 15.8 points per game while shooting 61 percent from the field and 58 percent from deep.

Gray’s play has led to 14 championships over his many years playing in UH. Since he was nominated for the Hall of Fame last year, he’s added two championships to his trophy case, winning back-to-back ‘ships in the past two seasons in Shelby, one in the open league and one in the vet league.

Gray was nominated for the Hall of Fame last year alongside fellow Detroit players Mckinsey Golfin and Johnnie Brown; Golfin and Brown were both inducted into the inaugural class. Will Gray be able to make it in this summer the second time around?
