2020 Las Vegas National Tournament Details Announced

The Las Vegas National Tournament is six and a half months away, but it’s never too early to start talking about it, and never too early to start planning for it.

The tournament will take place from May 15-17 at LIFE TIME in Green Valley, NV and registration for the tournament will take place on Friday, February 14 at 12 p.m. Central Time. Like our 2019 NYC Sky National Tourney, teams will be required to pay the full, non-refundable, $599 team fee on registration day. Teams will be allowed to register on a first-come, first-served basis.

Here are all of the changes to the tournament schedule and format this year:

  • The tournament will be capped at 16 teams

  • There will be four pools made up of four teams. The two best teams in each pool will advance to Sunday.

  • Teams will advance based on record, then head-to-head record and then point differential.

  • The four pool winners will be the top four seeds and the pool runner-ups will be the five through eight seeds. Seeds will be decided by record, then point differential. Teams from the same pool will not be able to matchup in the quarterfinals.

  • Pool play games will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday. There will be no games on Friday.

  • We will be hosting an event at the club’s pool deck on Friday night at 7 p.m. that will reveal all four pools, Saturday’s schedule and the 2020 Hall of Fame induction class. We will also be handing out duffle bags to team captains that will have all of the team’s jerseys.

  • Championship Sunday will begin at 10 a.m. The championship game will take place at 2:30 p.m.
