SHELBY OPEN: Week 3 Predictions

By Mckinsey Golfin | Shelby League Coordinator

7:30 p.m. - Goblin Skillz vs. All or Nothing

After their bye week last week, Goblin Skillz are back and ready to compete. And All or Nothing are looking to come back from last week’s loss and put up a fight. The player matchup in this game will be against the big man of each team, All or Nothing’s Tyler Conklin and Goblin Skillz’s Aston Sokolnicki. Both players have shown to be strong rebounders with a high scoring percentage in the paint, making this an exciting matchup. Will this new and improved All or Nothing team give the fall league champions a run for their money this week

Prediction: Goblin Skillz 85, All or Nothing 80

8:30 p.m. - Nothing But Net vs. Y-Lie

Our new team Nothing but Net, proved to be tough competitors last week when the game went down to the wire against the Front Runners. This week they look to gain their first win as they play against Y-Lie. With this game’s match-up we would see Y-Lie vet player Gary Price Jr. against Nothing but Net’s new player Kyle Stokel. We will see if this new team will be able to push through on a win against the well-known Y-Lie team.

Prediction: Y-Lie 78, Nothing but Net 71

9:30 p.m. - Balkan Brother Brand vs Dat Ain’t Fair

With Dat Ain’t Fair being at the top of the power rankings, BBB looks to snap their streak this week. BBB came back this season with some new young faces on their team. With the matchup between BBB’s Chris Mickovski and DAF’s Jean Uwizeye, who have both been labeled good shooters in this league. With a new, young core, hopefully BBB can give the veteran players some fresh competition.

Prediction: DAF 81, BBB 72
