The season culminates on Thursday when the top two teams face off for a chance at Ultimate Hoops Folsom immortality. This game will feature two of the top three MVP finalists, Tyler Alexander and Joseph Visman, as they hope to lead their respected teams to a championship. Keys to the game for the Bricklayers will be 1) continue to play at their up tempo style that causes defensive miscues and easy buckets and 2) be aggressive on the boards to create second chance points for themselves and limit them for the opponent. On the other side of the ball, the keys to the game for the Curtains will be 1) stay focused and disciplined on defense in order to create fast break opportunities 2) don’t settle for difficult jump shots .Both teams split the season series (1-1) with a total point differential of one. I expect this game to be another nail biter. This game will most likely be settled on the final possession, very fitting for the final game of the season. Let the final countdown begin.
