WESTWOOD: Week 4 Predictions

By David Jordan | Westwood Media Associate

This week is about nothing more than separation. With two 3-0 teams, and two 0-3 teams facing off, there isn’t much to be excited about. But then you have the middle of the pack matchups that are sure to be entertaining at the very least. The biggest problem thus far has to be that teams haven’t been playing at full strength. If teams show up this week, the narrative may change. But until then, this week is all about the middle of the pack teams getting some separation. Let’s take a look at this week's matchups.

7 p.m. – Legacy (2-1) vs All Style (1-2)

GAME. OF. THE. WEEK! Legacy comes into the week hungry to get back on the court after their close loss against Ballaz Club last week. All Style is simply hoping everyone can show up for the first time this season. Both teams have something to prove. In what is easily the best game we have going this week, were hoping both teams show up and give us the UH classic we deserve.

Prediction: Legacy

7 p.m. – Ballaz Club (1-2) vs Beast Mode (2-1)

Ballaz Club is a team full of battle tested UH veterans who are looking to find a way to build on last week’s much needed win. Beast Mode is a team composed of a few UH veterans and a ton of UH rookies looking to prove themselves. This seems like it could be a trap game for Ballaz Club, but i’m willing to give them some credit and say they’ll be ready to play come tip off.

Prediction: Ballaz Club

8 p.m. – Spartans (0-3) vs Ruff Ryders (3-0)

On paper, the 8 p.m. games aren’t the most exciting matchups in the world, and for that reason, I’m gonna stir the pot a bit. The Ruff Ryders have been playing well this season, and haven’t really been at a full squad yet. The Spartans are hungry for a win, and something in me tells me the Ruff Ryders are primed for an upset. It’s gonna take a big game from the two big men on the Spartans, and Fred Giles is gonna have to find a way to slow down Carlos Bermudez-Glean, but hey, who says it can’t happen?

Prediction: Spartans

8 p.m. – Posterized (0-3) vs Ea$y Money (3-0)

I picked an upset in the first of the 8 p.m. games, but i’m not so willing in this one. Simply put Ea$y Money has been firing on all cylinders. Posterized is still trying to get a dub. I doubt Jimmie can trash talk his way out of this one.

Prediction: Ea$y Money
