FORT WASHINGTON: Week 3 Predictions

By Kevin White | Fort Washington League Coordinator

7 p.m. - Our Time (2-0) vs Outlaws (1-1)

Our time puts their undefeated record on the line against an experienced Outlaws team who are hungry for their first win. Captain David Hardy is a tough competitor. He has the ability to will himself to a win. He’s taking on more of the facilitator role with this squad which has caused him to be less aggressive. They will need big production form Chris Kim as well tonight.

Our Time is riding a good wave right now and look to continue. Captain Jermaine Bromell is a walking double double. Newcomer Justin Raber has been a really solid addition to the already competitive squad.

Prediction: Our Time 76- Outlaws 72

8 p.m. - X-men (0-2)  vs Give N Go (1-1)

Game two of the Night is a toss up between X-men and Give N GO. I expect the X-men to come hungry for their first win. This game could be there best chance early on. Alex Weems Is due for a breakout shooting game along with big man Samuel Anyan.

On the Give N Go side captain Steve Tolliver believes his team can compete for a championship. To do so he will need to be more productive offensively as well as being the leader and facilitator that he has.

Prediction X-Men 68 Give N Glo 67

8 p.m. - Shawn Warren Elite (2-0) vs Suburban Legends (1-1)

I am putting the 16-in-a-row, back-to-back champs on upset alert tonight. Word around town is Joel Weilandt and Paul Curry will not play tonight.  The Shawn Warren Elite cast is still capable of pulling out a win but I think Jimmy Kieserman, Anish Nair, Naveen, and Carlos Chubb will smell blood and take the victory.

Prediction Suburban legends 80 – Shawn Warren Elite 75
