TEMPE DRAFT: Week 4 Power Rankings

By Adam Butler | Tempe Media Associate

Whats going on Tempe, ya boy AB is back in town after a much needed trip with the boys and I can’t wait to get back into this weeks games. Here is this week’s power rankings.

1. Keepin it a Bean (3-0)

Still at the top of the Rankings, KIAB stands alone as the only undefeated team. Back in the rotation this week will be Juan Gonzalez, who might have to hold it down for leading scorer Warren La Clamped who is back from a long weekend in the dirty T. Expect Jason Case to pop off as well.

2. Divine Intervention (3-1)

Definitely didn’t think DI would be competing for the top of the league at the beginning of the season. Taking down previously undefeated Not Going last week by sheer way of out shooting them. Shooting over 40 percent from the field as a team, if they keep up this level of play and balance, they’ll be a tough team to beat.

3. Not Going (2-1)

Losing their undefeated record last week, NG as a squad was super off. Only shooting 9-31 from 3PT, I can’t imagine that this will turn into a common thing. Surprisingly, triple double machine Justin De Windt shot better than anyone else on the team. Time to feed the man the ball.

4. FndF (1-3)

The last two games have not gone well for FndF, but they’ve also been without top player Jonathan Parker. They’ll definitely need him back to spread out the floor, and distribute some other shots. Also, Josh Malloy will be doing his best Steve Nash impression by coming back with stitches in his nose.

5. West Side Connected (2-2)

Jordan Sisk (Groovy Tony?) has finally decided to show up, averaging 20 and 10 in his double header last weekend. Can his supporting cast can help him, I predict that they’ll win some more games in the future

6. Shooting Slumps (1-3)

Finally catching a W, SS has found the taste of victory led by Xavier Sanchez (30 points, 12 rebounds, 1 broken nose) All without second-round pick Austin Garrison.

7. Slice ’N Dice (0-3)

Not off to a great first half of the season. SnD also had a horrendous 3-point shooting night last week, with Masih Muhammad being the only one to make a 3. If that’s how the rest of the season will be, it’ll be a long one.

Catch you all Monday night! Good luck everyone.
