1. Shawn Warren Elite (1-0)

Shawn Warren Elite capped of the season with a large margin win over the X –Men 94-67. Paul Curry exploded with a season and league-high 48 points. He was virtually unstoppable. Shawn Warren’s Elite winning streak not extends over three seasons dating back to the spring league of 2018.

2. Our Time (1-0)

Our Time started the season of with a one point win 63-62 over the Suburban Legends. New comer Justin Raber started off his Ultimate Hoops career with a 20-point performance to give his team the edge. The legends were without team captain Anish Nair and a really good player in Mark Miller. Add those two to the mix it could have been a different outcome.

3. Give’ N’ Glo (1-0)

Give ‘N’ Glo is the new team to the league. They are led by captain Steve Tolliver. They picked up the win in their UH debut against the Outlaws. They were led in scoring by Hakeem Brown who set the tone nicely with 25 points.

4. Suburban Legends (0-1)

The Suburban legends dropped a nail biter to Our Time by one point after leading the entire game. Newcomer Carlos Chubb had a great opening night posting a double-double of 15 points and 10 boards. The suburban legends will be at full roster moving forward and are looking to get in the win column.

5. The Outlaws (0-1)

The Outlaws are a former Ultimate Hoops champion team. Captain David Hardy returns to the lead of the team. The Outlaws were missing sharp shooter Chris Kim and its still in the air if former Co MVP Murvin Mitchell will return to the team.

6. X-Men (0-1)

The X-Men are showing more promise than last season. They did lose by a considerable margin in Week 1 but it looks like they have the pieces to put together a very competitive team with the addition of big man Samuel Anyan and wing Jacob Green. Alex Weems and Rodney Firmin will still be heavily relied upon for this unit.
