BOCA RATON: Week 7 Predictions

The Summer League regular season finale is set for 3 high stakes affairs, including first place on the line in the final tilt of the evening.

7 PM - Backstreet Ballers (0-6) vs LTF Flex (1-5)

We kick off week 7 with the bottom of the league battling it out for bragging rights. The Backstreet Ballers are looking to finally get off of the schnide against the hometown team, LTF Flex. Flex came out flat a week ago and it cost them. The Ballers have been in a state of disarray for a few weeks. Something has to give tonight.

Prediction: LTF Flex by 7

8 PM - The Hoopsters (2-4) vs Showtime (4-2)

Showtime needs a little help, but a win can put them in a tie for second place heading into the playoffs. Their youth and outside shooting have been the keys to success, as they lost size from the spring season. Braden is crucial for a victory here, as well as a potential playoff semifinal upset. The Hoopsters have improved, but they haven't fully turned the corner yet.

Prediction: Showtime by 13

9 PM - Barry's Bombers (6-0) vs The Shade Lizards (5-1)

The game of the night and the regular season to cap off play before next week's postseason begins. Barry's Bombers can lock up the regular season and #1 seed with a win, while The Shade Lizards can make things quite interesting if they tie it up. Chuck and Damian is the matchup to watch. Will the size of The Shade Lizards prevail? Or will it be the shooting efficiency of Barry's Bombers coming out on top? With a lot at stake, this one could be a classic.

Prediction: Barry's Bombers by 6 in a closely contested matchup, setting up ultimate rubber match potential in the Summer League finals.
