Our spotlighted player this week is YLie's David Stephens, who reached two milestones playing in Shelby this week. Stephens scored 20 points in a 70-61 win on Wednesday, putting his career point total over 4,500 points. He now has 4,507 in his career, which is 65th in UH. He also grabbed five offensive rebounds in the game, putting his career total to 1,003. He's only the 12th player in UH history to ever have over 1,000 offensive rebounds.

We start this week honoring two UH Minnesota lifers, Ahmed Helmy and Izzy Elkaffas, as both achieved milestones this week, Helmy played in his 500th game on Thursday in Fridley, making him the 10th player to ever play in 500 UH games. He's also just one block shy of recording his 400th career block. Elkaffas won his 400th career game on Wednesday in Bloomington South. He's only the sixth player to ever win 400 games, and his 401 wins rank fifth in UH.

Kreston Martin is only 17 points away from scoring his 5,000th career point in Ultimate Hoops. Typically I would wait until a player is a little closer to highlight this, but Martin has averaged 30.7 points in the Plano Fall season thus far. If he keeps pace, he should surpass 5,000 next week.

Stefan Hanania recorded one steal in a 101-67 win for the Gamblers in the Green Valley Vet B league. That steal was Hanania's 300th ever in Ultimate Hoops.

Tony DeBoer blocked one shot Thursday night in Fridley, giving him exactly 250 in his career. He ranks 27th all-time in UH in blocked shots.
