In our ongoing NBA CLONES series, our regional staff will match Ultimate Hoops League players with their NBA clones. Next up, Stephen Curry.

Ryan Samuelson - Minnesota

Submitted by Zach Neubauer, Regional Leagues Coordinator, Minnesota

Listed at 6’0 165lbs, (is  6'0" a stretch?) has the physical appearance of Curry. R-Sam is deadly from behind the arch, being able to shoot from crazy angles, off balanced, and quick off the dribble.

And, like Curry, he’s at his best when the game is on the line.

Jeremy Parker - Chicago

From Corin Chesterson, Regional Coordinator, Chicago

Disregard Parker's bigger build at 6'4" and 218 lbs, because his game is identical to Curry's.

Explains Chesterson: "Similar to Curry, Parker knows two locations on the court: Either at the basket or behind the three point line. There is no in between."

As ESPN's Mark Jackson so famously coined “hand down, man down,” give Parker any space and you’re getting a three ball in your eye. Coming in at #16 All-Time on UH Scoring list and shooting nearly 60% from three this summer season, Parker is just as accurate as Steph too.

Want a cherry on top? Steph and Jeremy are both 1-1 in their last championship games.

Prince Benitez – Dallas

From Brandon Barkley, Regional Coordinator, Dallas

Benitez is no taller than 5'9" with the frame of a high school kid. He still is extremely crafty with the ball and able to get his shot off with little struggle.

Like Curry, he makes it look easy; so easy in fact that he's currently shooting 59% from 3 this season.

Jordan Marcus – New Jersey

From James Mooney, Regional Manager, Northeast Region

Marcus is arguably the best shooter in the Northeast region. His 3-point ability is extremely reminiscent of Curry's.

Not only can Marcus run off screens, square his body, and splash away, but he can also create his own shot as good as any. His ability to create his own shot allows him to shoot at any given point from any given spot.

If there's ever a player that you can rely on to hit a three, Marcus is your man.

Justin Meineke – Denver

From Erick Saengchanh, League Coordinator, Denver

Meineke, just like Steph, is a 3-point and all around scoring threat. In his 48 UH league games, Justin is averaging 32.2 points while shooting 42% from behind the arch. He may not have handles like Steph, but his shooting range and playmaking ability are remarkably similar.
