Basketball Trainer
Position Summary
As an Ultimate Hoops Trainer, you will be responsible for selling and promoting providing best-in-class basketball instruction programs to acquire and retain recurring members, while delivering a professional, consistent and engaging experience. The primary responsibility is to connect with current members.

Part-Time position. Hours depend on class size, client base and camps offered each month
Shifts include weekday and weekends
1-2 hour of administrative work per week
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Promotes and sells Ultimate Hoops basketball training programs, services and products
Markets and promotes Ultimate Hoops training programs throughout the club using approved marketing materials and processes to increase participation.
Engages basketball members during high traffic periods to connect with target audience and accumulate additional customers
Develops and implements comprehensive basketball training programs to ensure clients are achieving measurable results against the progression-based model of Ultimate Hoops
Keeps the gym clean and presentable to members
Utilizes ongoing player evaluations to determine starting levels for new clients and progress for current clients
Advocates for Ultimate Hoops and Life Time in the basketball community
Partners with other club team members and interest group leads to promote programs
Attends open house and other club functions to drive program awareness
Position Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
5 years basketball training experience with clients starting at age 5
Some travel may be required
Preferred Requirements
Bachelors Degree in a related field
College or Professional basketball playing experience
League Coordinator
Position Summary
The League Coordinator ensures consistent execution of on-court and online management of the Ultimate Hoops Basketball League.

Hours Requirement
Part-Time position. 6.5 hours to 8.5 hours per week depending on league size
League night hours typically 6pm to 10:30pm
1 hour of remote administrative work day before and day after league night
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Day before league night responsibilities
Connect with all third party contract workers, including scoreboard operators, statisticians and referees to confirm work availability
Make any roster adjustments
Check Ultimate Hoops Microsoft Teams Channel for national updates or announcements
League night responsibilities
Arrive 30 minutes prior to league games starting
Set up scoreboards, chairs and scorers table. Clean court if needed
Print out stat sheets and any relevant promotional fliers
Greet players when they arrive
Ensure league staff is wearing staff uniforms
Keeps games moving, maintains game rules and manages game conflicts
Conduct Facebook Live interviews with players after games
Take photos during weeks when contracted photographer is not in attendance
Promotes UH league and other UH branded basketball programs and activities
After games, enter game stats to leagues.uhlife.com
Day after league night responsibilities
Upload game photos to your regional Facebook Group
Connect with your Content Contributor to ensure media content is posted to uhlife.com/stories.
Email league staff and referees their work schedules for the next week
Complete Weekly Recap Report for your corporate manager
Check Ultimate Hoops Microsoft Teams Channel for national updates or announcements

Experience playing or coaching basketball games

League Statistician
Position Summary
The Statistician assists in the execution of Ultimate Hoops Basketball League by tracking full statistics for league games.

Assures all players are checked in and present on official scoresheets
Tracks all relevant statistics during games
Works closely with League Coordinator to ensure member satisfaction
Assists in game preparations and/or clean up as needed
Actively promotes Ultimate Hoops and Life Time to members and non-members
Articulates extensive knowledge of Ultimate Hoops programs, products, services, policies and procedures to prospective and current members
Position Requirements

League Scoreboard Operator
Position Summary
The Scoreboard Operator assists in the execution of Ultimate Hoops Basketball League by operating scoreboards and tracking minutes played.

Position Summary
The Ultimate Hoops Referee assists in the execution of Ultimate Hoops Basketball League by officiating league games. They work closely with league coordinators and players to ensure a respectful and fun Ultimate Hoops experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Officiates Ultimate Hoops basketball games fairly
Follows and enforces all Ultimate Hoops rules during games
Interacts with players in a respectful, cooperative manner
Works closely with League Coordinator to ensure member satisfaction
Actively promotes Ultimate Hoops and Life Time to members and non-members
Articulates extensive knowledge of Ultimate Hoops programs, products, services, policies and procedures to prospective and current members
Position Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Less than 1 year of experience operating scoreboards
General knowledge of basketball rules
Certified basketball official with local governing body
League Photographer
Position Summary
The Ultimate Hoops Photographer/Videographer will assist the league coordinator by capturing photo or video during Ultimate Hoops League experiences.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Works closely with League Coordinator to ensure member satisfaction
Shoots various events, including tournaments and league nights
Edits photos to be used on social media and UH website
Photographs fans and in-game presentation
Assists with archiving of photos
Tells stories through innovative photo, video and digital media
Directs production of video content
Position Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Previous sports photographer or video experience
Proficient in photography techniques, including lighting and camera positioning among others
Travel to various sites around community required
Experience with media streaming tools (i.e Facebook Live)

League Content Contributor
Position Summary
The Ultimate Hoops Content Contributor will produce articles and other media content for the Ultimate Hoops Stories page.

This is not a paid position. Content Contributors receive a complimentary season of the Ultimate Hoops Adult League

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Works closely with League Coordinator and corporate team on a weekly editorial strategy
Partners with League Photographer to ensure quality photos for each article
Starts discussion and posts polls on regional Facebook Group
