2026 Dallas National Tournament Preview | Everything is Bigger in Texas
We are set to kick off the 2026 Tournament season this weekend in Dallas Texas! This will be the first time we’ve ever hosted a National Tournament in Texas.

The Favorite
Home teams have won the last 2 National Tournaments. I’m not the type of guy to bet against the trends so I will pick a Texas team here. I like SA Nation to bring home the 1st National Title here for Texas after seeing former Ball So Hard guard Justin Dentmon and center Zach Andrews added to the roster. GM Dan Gilbert have told me for years to host a National Tournament in Texas so he can bring his best. Well he finally got his wish so let’s see how great this Texas talent is.
Best Team Name
Hoosier Daddy. I’m sure I’ve seen this name before but it’s still funny though.
Cinderella Team
Legendary Coach Ray Ingram told me he wanted to put together a team that was “coachable” and will play as a team. He picked up all the players in Houston that nobody else wanted. Doesn’t this sound like a making of a Cinderella story?? “Remember When” I put this here in case they win it all and I can say I called it.
The Breakout Team
Motu Baseline has been close to win it all for years. They choked in the championship game in New York. But something tells me with the tournament now in Texas this won’t be happening again this time around. They were my original favorite to win it all this time but I’m not as familiar with their new faces as I am with SA Nations. But I would not be surprised one bit if Baseline brings it all home in Dallas.
The Team Most Likely to Finish Last
Going to pick one of the Texas teams I’ve never seen or heard of obviously. But keep in mind the team I picked last in New York won it all so this team should feel lucky to even be mentioned here. That team is Shooters Shoot. If they win it all I am never going to write these articles again.
The Team Most Likely to have the Most Fire Jersey
Da Guys. The Toy Story jerseys might be the most fire jersey of all time but when you have 37 different sponsors on the payroll then I expect a even more fire jersey in 2026.

Calendar of Events
Friday Night: Please join us at the Life Cafe at Frisco Life Time starting at 6:00pm. Complimentary food and drinks will be provided for all teams and guests. Team captains will be able to pick up their tournament gear at this event.
Saturday Night: We will be hosting our official National Tournament after party at Green Light Social starting at 10:00pm. VIP entry for all teams and their guests!
