OBJECTIVE FOR PROGRAM: To positively impact and support as many individuals as possible through basketball and fitness, while fostering a strong mentality, building self-esteem, and providing consistent encouragement.

BASKETBALL EXPERIENCE:

Grew up playing basketball in Gary, IN and Chicago, where a strong family influence and environment sparked a love for the game at just three years old. One of the earliest and most meaningful memories was playing alongside a grandmother on a Fisher Price court, an experience that laid the foundation for a lifelong passion.

Joined first organized team in 6th grade through the Boys & Girls Club of America, but did not play competitively until 9th grade. Walking into high school tryouts with little formal experience, a coach’s belief became a defining moment that ignited confidence and a commitment to development that still resonates today.

Continued the journey at the junior college level in Colby, where exposure to traveling professional players expanded the vision of what basketball could offer. Later transferred to Rangely to play for Colorado Northwestern Community College, a pivotal chapter that required balancing a deep love for the game with personal challenges. During this time, also began coaching in various capacities, a role that has remained consistent ever since.

After college, relocated to Atlanta and worked in operations with Georgia State Panthers under Ron Hunter. Gained valuable experience leading practices and coaching youth through Elite Hoops Basketball camps in partnership with Nike.

Still actively competes in men’s leagues across the city, staying connected to the game while continuing to mentor and develop players. Students describe this coaching style as passionate and motivating, with a focus on building not just skills but also confidence, mentality, and love for the game.
