Walking Dead Looks to Stay Alive

SYOSSET: Week 7 Predictions

By Anthony Leo | Syosset League Coordinator

Walking Dead (2-4) vs Ballerz (3-2)

The Ballerz lead by Mike Seff will take on Tom Dimicelli and the Walking Dead tonight. Both are two of the best guards in the league and scorers. Their teams rely heavily on them to score the ball and it should make for a fun matchup tonight. The Ballerz will be without a very important piece to their team tonight. Cedric Wallace will miss tonight’s game and that will make a huge difference for the Walking Dead and their hopes of winning this game. Without Wallace the Ballerz will have to rebound as a team and keep the Walking Dead out of the paint. In the end the loss of Wallace might be too much for the Ballerz to make up.

PICK: Walking Dead

Dream Team (3-2) vs Let’s Do This Again (4-2)

The Dream team enters tonight’s game looking to keep pace with the top teams for a better playoff seed. If they want to grab a top seed they must win this game to give themselves a chance. Let’s Do This Again has won back to back games and they have got better and better each game. Tonight, both teams will be a little shorthanded but the both teams will have their most important players facing off head to head. The key matchup in this game is Chris Albano and how Let’s Do This Again defends him. Albano can dominate the boards and control this game. Jared Wulfow and Adam Sutton need to be aggressive and make up for the loss of Steve Dukoff who is usually the enforcer out there for the team.

PICK: Let’s Do This Again

Hooligans (4-2) vs Shooting Stars (1-5)

The Hooligans are coming off another loss and need to win this game to keep pace at the top. I expect them to come out strong in this game as they know how important the game is. The Shooting Stars need to be aggressive and can’t afford a slow start. I will not be easy for the Shooting Stars to control this game with Jay Harris and Stephen Sombrotto controlling the boards and the pace of the game for the Hooligans. In the end I think the Hooligans pick up their effort tonight and find a way to pull away in the second half to win the game.

PICK: Hooligans
