RALEIGH: Week 4 Predictions

By Thomas Hunt | Raleigh League Coordinator

Raleigh Elite vs The Heat

It’s the battle for the number one spot. With both teams coming off of its first lost of the season last week. Both teams will be looking to get back to its winning ways. As we reach the halfway mark to this season the winner of this game will sit at the No. 1 spot while the loser will drop to the third or fourth position. With everything that’s on the line for this game, I expect each team to come out full speed.

Prediction: Raleigh Elite

The Kings vs D.R.

This D.R. team has the potential to be really dangerous once the tournament comes around. After an amazing come from behind win last week they look to continue their winning streak by handing the Kings its fourth lost of the season. The Kings at time have played really well together they have some good pieces but they just can’t seem to all get on the same page or even make it in time for the game. I still have faith these guys can get it together and make a serious push in the second half of the season.

Prediction: D.R.

The Defenders vs Lifetime Rebels

The Defenders look to ride the momentum from last week win by trying to knock off the Rebels. Last week the Defenders had an amazing shooting night and dominated the boards that helped them seal the win. The Lifetime Rebels have been shooting lights out over the last two games if they can keep this up they just may win out the regular season. The way they control the boards, push the ball and shoot the 3, this team can look down right scary at times.

Prediction: Lifetime Rebels

The Monstars vs Unsigned Hype

The Monstars seem to always find away to stay in a game with their hustle and great guard play. With this being a rematch of last seasons championship game I look forward to seeing if they use that lost and bring the fight to Unsigned Hype. Unsigned Hype looked completely unstoppable last week. They were finally starting to look like the team that won the championship last season, they were scoring at will and also playing lock down defense. They held their opponents under 15 points for the entire first half. And in the second it was pretty much the same. They finally are starting to look like the team that won the championship last season.

Prediction: Unsigned Hype
