FOLSOM: Week 4 Predictions

By James Doran | Folsom League Coordinator

6 P.M. - Ballbarians (2-1) vs Game Time (3-0)

The Ballbarians got a rude awakening last week after they were handled by Locker Room Talk. They now try and avoid a two-game losing streak but it’ll be tough against undefeated Game Time. This one has some good potential matchups with James Doran up against Tyler Alexander, Carson McMurtery vs Zach Jacobs and Virender Shergill vs Billy Blankenship. I expect a spirited effort from the Ballbarians, but Game Time is just too strong.

Prediction: Ballbarians 72, Game Time 80

7 P.M. - Scrappy Hour (0-3) vs Locker Room Talk (2-1)

Scrappy Hour has a revamped roster as they look to have Vuk Mitic back and the new addition of Nick Armocido. With them in the lineup they should be a lot more competitive. Will it be enough to beat Locker Room Talk? LRT looked excellent in their victory over the Ballbarians last week. The scary thing is we still haven’t seen a game where Joe Visman “goes off”. This one should be decided in the second half, and it will be to the delight of Locker Room Talk.

Prediction: Locker Room Talk 78, Scrappy Hour 66

8 P.M. - Chuck Taylors (1-2) vs Expansions (1-2)

This one should be the game of the week. Chuck Taylors were able to get their first win last week despite no Mark Payne. With Payne expected to play tomorrow, the team now has the confidence it can get scoring from other members of the team. Just see Dan Barber or Matt Pedersons last game. Maybe we will even see the debut of Nick Freedman or Chris White. The Expansions will no doubt be hungry for another win after a tough loss to Game Time. They have proven they are too good to fall too far down the standings. I expect them to play tough in this one. I see another nail biter.

Prediction: Expansions 78, Chuck Taylors 76
