FOLSOM: Week 3 Predictions

By James Doran | Folsom League Coordinator

6 p.m. – Ballbarians (2-0) vs Locker Room Talk (1-1)

The Ballbarians might be the surprise of the season as they begin their season 2-0, but they now face their toughest test in a game against Locker Room Talk. LRT was colder than an iceberg in the Antarctic coast last week in a loss against Game Time. There’s no doubt they will be ready to play tonight, and should have an easier time scoring against the Ballbarians. I expect an uptempo affair, with Locker Room Talk edging out a close win.

Prediction: Locker Room Talk 82, Ballbarians 77

7 p.m. – Game Time (2-0) vs Expansions (1-1)

This Game Time team is in cruise control right now, almost making a mockery of the league with two easy victories thus far. This could be one of the strongest teams we have seen in Folsom’s short history. The Expansions are coming off a convincing win against Scrappy Hour last week, and got strong performances from Alex DiManno and Bryan Todd. Will they have enough to hang with Game Time? I don’t see a shocker here, Game Time wins.

Prediction: Game Time 80, Expansions 70

8 p.m. – Scrappy Hour (0-2) vs Chuck Taylors (0-2)

These two teams will be hungry to get their first victory. Scrappy Hour has been decimated by injury, as they are expected to be missing both Vuk Mitic and Ron Jacobs this week. That will be tough, they need Dillon Gugin and Sanjay Bagai to really fill the void to have a shot tonight. The Chuck Taylors have gotten the expected results from Mark Payne, they just need a little more from the supporting cast to get them over the top. I think Chuck Taylors get it in this one.

Prediction: Chuck Taylors 76, Scrappy Hour 68
