Steve Bertrand has played in 133 career games in UH Arizona across multiple clubs and multiple leagues. What is the first pair of basketball shoes you ever bought?

Bertrand: The first shoes I can remember playing in as a kid were the Air Jordan VI’s (Black/Infrared). I begged my mom for them, she spoils me.



What was the first concert you ever went to?

Bertrand: I believe my mom and dad took me and my sister to Dwight Yoakam when we were younger but the first concert I went to that I spent my own money to see was Pepper and Slightly Stoopid.



Who is the most overrated player in Ultimate Hoops?

Bertrand: This is easy, Desmond Floyd. Has a jumper that looks like Shawn Marion’s, but never goes in, poor guy.



What is your favorite sports movie?

Bertrand: Basketball? Blue Chips. Baseball? Major League/For Love of the Game

Bertrand: Power, I don’t know why I didn’t pay for Starz earlier.

Bertrand: Pretty much any generic big white guy move. #8inchvertbaby

Bertrand: Margot Robbie/Adriana Lima

What is your best basketball memory?

Bertrand: Probably back in high school when we played against Arron Afflalo and were down 17 at half and came back to win by one on my Senior Night back in high school. What made it even better was Afflalo missed the shot at the buzzer.

Bertrand: Jason Segel or Chris Pratt
