I believe Montzka will be playing so hopefully that turns your prediction the other way. I predict Mortenson will have a big impact on the defensive side of the ball as well.

I definitely think the Giants are better than 7. They played very well! I see them stunning a few teams. (Or maybe not surprising at all)

The age old adage in sports is defense wins championships, big men consistently bring home the Defensive Player of the Year award. (I am in no way making this argument because I am a big man and also won DPY) Seriously though a good big man opens things up for everyone defensively, you can play more aggressive ball defense because you know youve got someone protecting the rim. A PG cant disrupt the flow of an opposing offense if he knows if he gets beat its gonna be 2. Here in Vegas if you look at a guy like Charles The Beast Vinson he put his team on his back on both ends of the court and won a championship. His PG was good, REALLY good, but Vinson was great.

A good point guard has the advantage over a good big man. While a good big man can alter and block some shots, a good defensive point guard has the ability to disrupt the start of an offense. On the other side of the ball a pg has the ball in his hands at all times, a big man needs the ball to be fed to him after he gets good position. You can't debate Shaq and Iverson, Iverson was strictly a scorer.

Believe me Mr Balln, I know you're capable of taking down a zone. I was hoping by dropping your name that I'd get some input for one of Chicago's finest, so I guess my plan worked. Erik and I truly appreciate the feedback. And Stanke, I wouldn't necessarily call Allen Iverson a point guard but it's nice to know I have you in my camp!

Since I have had both a Big man and also All star point guards I will say unless you have a Dwight Howard or a Shaq in his prime type player I would take a guard every time!! And Briggs it wasn't because I didnt tell my team what to do with a zone its because I had a center who didnt do it! We have two players who are #3 and #9 in 3 points made in the history of U Hoops and both shoot 41% and they dont get the ball in a zone defense, and your center goes for 0 points in both games! having a kwame Brown or eddie currie is not gonna do your team any good! Thats why the Big man era is over for balln, we won our league Championship and Chicago Championship without a 6'9 center and scoring went from 65 a game to 80+. I have had Tony Freeman, Mike Rose and Drew Carstens for my guards and would take them over a big man every time! Unless that 6'9 player is like a Lebron or Blake Griffith

Easy... How about this... In the primes of their career, who would you rather have: Shaq or Iverson? Com'on, Shaq every day, six ways to Sunday.

I'm down for an all-star game if we can do US vs the World. Being born in Switzerland with a Toblerone in one hand and a Swatch in the other, that is my only chance of making the squad. As for the write up, not as much crow eating as I was hoping for but it will do...keep up the good work! In my opinion, the best part of last night was the crowd for St Baul vs The Riddlers. It was about 15 people yelling and cheering for St Baul vs Mother Steingas cheering alone for her boys and the Riddlers. Props to her coming to the game though, I can't get anyone I know to come watch me hobble up and down the court.
