CHICAGO: Spring Season Rankings | No Size and other area teams stack up their rosters
1-FRANCHISE(SCHAUMBURG) 0-0
-The two time defending city champions will make there spring debut this week and definitely have a difficult road in front of them as the Schaumburg league is much improved and they will have numerous non-conference opponents on the schedule.
2-BUCKETS(WARRENVILLE) 1-0
-They have appeared in the last two city championship games, but have came up short each time. Will this finally be the season they claim that first city championship? Rimvis Storuliukas got off to a monster start dropping 42 on opening night.
3-NO SIZE(WARRENVILLE) 2-0
-Two major off-season acquisitions really have them in the conversation this season. Electric swing man Derik Hollyfield and super guard Rob Odumuyiwa could be just what this team needed. Already a tough minded bunch and now they may have the depth to capture there first city crown.
4-BULLS(SCHAUMBURG)1-0
-This is definitely a team to keep your eye on this season as they are ready to contend. They already have an impressive opening week victory over Zero J and now will look to a pivotal second week matchup with the defending champion Franchise.
5-BURN URANUS(BLOOMINGDALE) 2-0
-They have to be the runaway favorite in the Bloomingdale league with two new dynamic additions. Guard Jarvis Nichols is arguably the top talent in the city and has landed with Burn Uranus. Also the high flying Tim Dukes should make for an exciting season for this team.
6-BALLN(WARRENVILLE) 1-1
-They also beefed up the roster a little adding guard Jeremy Parker and center T. Roots. It has been a disappointing past couple of seasons for this Balln club as other teams have passed them up in the city. Are these the offseason moves that can get Balln back to the top?
7-YOUNG MONEY BRICK SQUAD 2(WARRENVILLE) 1-0
-One of the new arrivals in the city. They are full of talent and should be a very tough opponent for area teams. Forward Jarvis Griffin is definitely a force in the open floor and could cause havoc this season.
8-ZERO J(SCHAUMBURG) 0-1
-This team is in a very interesting situation. They are rumors that their talented big man Jerry Sanders will not be finishing the season with the club and this totally changes the makeup of this team. They are clearly not the same ball club without him.
9-GSW(BLOOMINGDALE) 2-0
-They are geared up to put together a successful campaign in the Bloomingdale league. Guard Chris Garcia who earned a spot on the 2012 winter all area team is looking to continue his torrid pace and collect some victories this year.
10-WARRIORS(WARRENVILLE)2-1
-Basically the same Warriors team Chicago has become accustomed to. They will battle every single night and make you earn everything you get. They are still searching for there first Warrenville club champioship.
