SYOSSET, NY: Teams look to jocky for position

Week four in the Syosset open division has the look to the best week so far in the season. With all teams still in contention this will prove to be a very important week as A-List looks to crack the win column. If that is to be accomplished they’ll have to derail undefeated Unstuck (2-0) led by Mike Mastro (29.5 points 16.5 rebounds) while teams Backspin and Cougar Captains who will play Tuesday May 1st (9:00pm) both try to climb to the .500 mark.

If the CC is to get a win, look for Ken Koerner (27.3 points per game) to have a bounce back game as he scored a season low 17 points last week in a defeat to No Mercy. Back Spin is a scrappy group with many contributors with a deep bench.

The Real Cougar Captains (1-1) take on No Mercy (2-1). The RCC picked up their first W of the year as they had a comfortable 15 point victory over Backspin. Adam Lambert had a breakout game as he scored 24 points while picking up 10 rebounds. Lambert and Mike Diamond average a combined 46 points per contest. No Mercy looks to set it self apart from the back this week as they look to pick up their 3 win in a row. Look for Brandon Dominick who is currently averaging 31 points per contest to have another stellar performance. His 31/PPG is best in the league.

As the standings sit now if No Mercy can win and A-List can pull off an upset over Unstuck, look for NM to be number 1 in the first power rankings which will be released following week 4 action.
