DALLAS TX: Amazing game winning shot!!!
What a crazy opening game we had at Premier Place in Dallas last night. Both Showtime and Team 1 put on a spectacular performance of both skill and perseverance. Each player battled until the last second of the game giving it everything they had. Some highlights were Eric Carpenter with some amazing defense and a pivotal layup, Michael Prysock with his crazy jump shots, Jacarri Williams with his hard to make layups, and Capri Davis with the hardest 3-pointer I have ever seen in Dallas' Ultimate Hoops history. The video speaks for itself.
Next up was That J Cray vs Team Quinn. Team Quinn started off solid and meshed well together while That J Cray was struggling to catch up, and then out of nowhere something clicked and TJC jumped right back into the game through hard work and good shooting. Despite their hard work and team effort, TJC left with a loss, 58 to 65. Leading TJC was Kris Powell with 23 followed by Ben Camillo with 21. Ben also had 9 rebounds!
Final game was between Free Agents and MDC (Metroplex Dental Care). This was a "youth versus experience" game as MDC had many years under their belt and Free Agents had energy under their's. In the end experience prevailed with MDC coming out on top 95 to 72. Josh Wilks from MDC was a weekly PPR leader with 21 pts, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals.
